Getting started
RenewPulse watches your Stripe subscriptions and emails customers before they renew. This guide walks a new account from signup to the first test reminder.
- Create and verify your account
- Add a Stripe API key and verify it
- Stay in test mode until you like the emails
- Choose reminder days (30 days is on by default)
- Edit the email template and send a test
- Confirm subscriptions appear on the Dashboard
- When you are ready, switch to live mode
Nothing emails a real customer until you turn test mode off and save a live Stripe key. Test sends go to the test inbox you set in Settings.
What RenewPulse does each day
A scheduled job checks every connected Stripe account. When a subscription is exactly 90, 60, 30, 7, or 1 day from renewal (whichever intervals you enabled), RenewPulse sends that reminder once and will not send the same interval again for that subscription on the same cycle.
Stripe data on the Dashboard is cached and refreshed about every four hours.
